Server log files

When this website is accessed, the web server automatically stores data in log files: IP address, date and time of access, resource requested, HTTP status code, volume of data transferred, referrer and user agent. This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the site and the prevention of misuse, based on the overriding private interest in secure operation (Art. 31 revDSG). The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Vercel writes these logs on its edge network and keeps them for a short retention period under its data processing agreement; I hold no separate copy.

Language

German is the home page. On a first visit to brlabs.ch the Accept‑Language header the browser already sends may open the English page at /en.html. No cookie is set and nothing is stored on your device. Choosing DE after that keeps you on the German page.

Contact by email

If you write to me, I process and keep your details in order to handle the enquiry. They are not passed to third parties without your consent. My mailbox is hosted by Proton AG (Geneva, Switzerland), where messages are stored encrypted.

Appointment booking and video calls

For intro calls I link to a Proton Calendar booking page (Proton AG, Geneva, Switzerland). The page is not embedded in this website: simply visiting brlabs.ch sends no data to Proton. Only when you follow the link and book an appointment do you submit your name, email address and any notes to Proton; the appointment is stored in my calendar and you receive a confirmation by email. Video calls take place via Proton Meet, end‑to‑end encrypted and without an account on your side. I process these details solely to hold the call. Proton's privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under the revDSG you have the right to information, rectification and deletion, and to receive or transfer your personal data. Please contact tobias.brantschen@brlabs.ch.

Data security

Transmission of this website is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
